Hours announced for April White River bridge closure

The Department of Transportation has received final confirmation for the hours the White River bridge will be closed in April.

The Department of Transportation has received final confirmation for the hours the White River bridge will be closed in April.

The bridge will be closed 10 p.m. Friday, April 15 to noon on Saturday, April 23 for repair work.

The DOT noted the emergency repairs made to the bridge have held up well, having inspected the bridge last Sunday.

There will be another inspection of the bridge in March, which may require bringing the bridge down to one lane.
