Officers were called Oct. 6 to a stolen Amazon package from the victim’s yard. According to the victim, he called Amazon after the package did not arrive, and the company said the package was delivered and signed for by someone using his name.

The victim told officers this is a reoccurring problem with his housemates, and only wanted this incident documented. The package was eventually returned.

FAST CAR: Officers observed a car going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone on Oct. 9. The car did not pull over after officers activated their emergency lights, and instead drove for another couple of blocks before pulling into a driveway and parking in an open garage. Officers contacted the male driver, who said he was driving fast because it was fun. Officers smelled alcohol coming from the man, who said he had two drinks before driving. The driver did not want to do any field sobriety tests, and he was arrested for DUI. A later PBT showed he had a blood alcohol level of .092.
