Metro Animal Services, which serves Bonney Lake and Sumner, this week launched a new Web site to provide information for current and future pet owners.

The Web site, www.MetroAnimalServices.org, includes much of what owners of dogs and cats need to know. Among the features on the site is a printable pet license form, information on adopting an animal, and a checklist of steps to take in case a pet ever gets lost.

The Web site also features success stories about animals which were adopted into families.

Prospective pet owners can see which dogs and cats are currently in the Metro Animal Shelter awaiting their adoptive families.

Metro Animal Services’ shelter is at 1200 39th Ave. S.E. in Puyallup. Its hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
