CAN’T CAMP: Officers were told June 26 of people camping in the trees around Mountain Villa Drive. Contact was made and the campers were advised to gather their belongings and move on. Also on the 26th, police contacted someone camping at a Roosevelt Avenue location. Again, the camper was advised to move along and not return.

DISTURBANCE: Officers responded at 4:50 a.m. June 25 to a Sun Mountain Drive address and the scene of a domestic disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend. The make was gone upon police arrival and the woman issued a formal statement. Officers determined there was probable cause for an arrest.

JULY 1: During the early part of the day, police performed a security check at an Olsen Avenue address, handled an animal complaint on River Avenue, assisted on a call to the fire department and made five traffic stops.

JUNE 30: Police were called twice to help with problems involving juveniles. Also, there was a complaint about fireworks and an incident of reckless driving.
