NO DUMPING: Someone dumped personal garbage in the trash bin of a Stevenson Avenue business, prompting a call to police Nov. 27. The illegal dumper left behind items containing her name, so police were able to track her down. She admitted to the illegal dumping and agreed to return to the scene and collect her garbage.
Average retail gasoline prices in Washington have fallen 2.3 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.46/g yesterday. This compares with the national average that has not moved in the last week to $3.43/g, according to gasoline price website WashingtonGasPrices.com.
Voters returned 993,908 ballots for a final turnout of 85 percent, with 978,377 of those ballots tabulated in the final results report.

Today Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist charged Troy Fisher, 52, with 14 counts of Possession of Depictions of Minors Engaged in Sexual Conduct. Fisher was a long-time employee of the Capital Playhouse in Olympia, where he frequently worked with children.
