While looking at a vacant residence on Porter Street Oct. 22, someone noticed drug paraphernalia near the front porch. Police located two needles, which were disposed of properly, and confirmed that the residence was secure.

SWAY BARS: A Randall Place resident reported the morning of Oct. 23 sway bars had been stolen from a vehicle. The value of the missing items was estimated at $500. Police were given a description of a suspect vehicle but a search turned up nothing.

PARAPHERNALIA: While looking at a vacant residence on Porter Street Oct. 22, someone noticed drug paraphernalia near the front porch. Police located two needles, which were disposed of properly, and confirmed that the residence was secure. A day later, fire department personnel told police of paraphernalia found at a Griffin Avenue location; the items were confiscated.

KEEP AWAY: Police were told the afternoon of Oct. 21 of an unwanted subject habitually loitering in front of businesses at a Roosevelt Avenue shopping complex. The individual was trespassed from the grounds, including the parking lot.

NO CONTACT: A woman told police the evening of Oct. 21 a man had followed her to her vehicle, yelling obscenities because she refused to stop and talk to him. Officers located the man, advised him to not contact anyone on the street and to leave the area.
