In addition, the Pierce County Fire Marshall issued a county-wide burn ban. The burn ban was put in place on July 11th and applies to all outdoor burning except small recreational fires in established fire pits at approved camp grounds or private property with the owner’s permission. Use of gas and propane self-contained stoves and BBQs will continue to be allowed under the ban.
