On May 23 officers received a report of a hit and run. A witness told police they saw a vehicle hit the reporting party’s car and leave the scene. An hour later, police received another call saying the car returned to the scene of the hit and run.

STOLEN PLATES: A car was reported found by its owner in a business parking lot to police on May 23. The reporting party told officers the car was still drive-able, but the front and rear plates were missing. Communications updated the information about the car.

RETURNED TO THE SCENE: On May 23 officers received a report of a hit and run. A witness told police they saw a vehicle hit the reporting party’s car and leave the scene. An hour later, police received another call saying the car returned to the scene of the hit and run. The female driver told officers she became suddenly sick while driving, and started swerving when she started vomiting. The female driver told officers she didn’t know what she hit but knew it wasn’t a living thing, so she first went home to change. She returned to the scene to take responsibility for the crash. The female was cited for hit and run.
