ALTERED TRIP PERMIT: Officers pulled over a vehicle on Sept. 16 due to expired vehicle registration. When approaching the car, officers saw what looked like to be an altered trip permit. Officers asked for the permit and confirmed it was altered. The driver was cited and released.
RUNNING FROM WARRANT: Officers were driving through a gas station on Sept. 17 when sighting two people known to officers filling up their car. A record check revealed the man and the woman to have revoked driving status and the woman also had two misdemeanor warrants. Officers turned around and contacted the man, as it seemed the woman was no longer in the area, taking off when he saw officers approach. Officers later found him at Denny’s, where he was arrested without incident. The woman was cited for driving with a suspended license, and both the man and woman booked into Nisqually Jail.
