Ryan Boyle and Robert Hoag swear in as Bonney Lake sergeants | Bonney Lake Council Agenda, March 12

Tonight's Bonney Lake city council meeting is light on items outside the consent agenda, but that just means more time in the spotlight for Detective Ryan Boyle and Officer Rob Hoag as they accept their promotions to sergeants in the Bonney Lake Police Department.

Tonight’s Bonney Lake city council meeting is light on items outside the consent agenda, but that just means more time in the spotlight for Detective Ryan Boyle and Officer Rob Hoag as they accept their promotions to sergeants in the Bonney Lake Police Department.

Boyle and Hoag will fill the vacuum left by Kurt Alfano and James Keller after they were sworn in as Assistant Chiefs at the Feb. 26 meeting. Last August, Boyle and Hoag gave the Courier-Herald and readers a tour of the department’s Marine Services Unit.

You can find the Tuesday, March 12 council meeting packet here. Notable items include a call for bids to replace the Evergreen Point water main. The main has required repeated patching in recent years and, in one case, flooded a residential basement in the north Lake Tapps neighborhood.
