September emphasis patrol | Bonney Lake Police Department
During the month of September, Bonney Lake police officers will conduct traffic emphasis patrols on specific problem areas throughout the city. The highly visible traffic enforcement in these targeted areas is an attempt to improve traffic safety.
September 1 to September 8: Sky Island Drive
September 9 to September 16: Angeline Road
September 17 to September 24: 192nd and 104th Street East to 200th Ave. Court East (including school zone enforcement)
September 25 to September 30: Kelly Lake Road and Church Lake Road

Oakpointe is gearing up to start home construction in the Ten Trails project in Black Diamond — the developer is only waiting for is final authorization by the City Council. Final plat authorization was submitted by Oakpointe to city staff on Aug. 30, and after staff review, sent to the City Council for action on the Oct. 5 meeting. Council tabled the item to the Oct. 19 meeting. Additionally, a new roundabout opened in the city.
