Dené Overman and Tony Kuzaro were married Aug. 9, 2008, at the Shangri-La Resort outside Enumclaw. Performing the 5 p.m. ceremony was John Henry Morris II.

Dené Overman and Tony Kuzaro were married Aug. 9, 2008, at the Shangri-La Resort outside Enumclaw. Performing the 5 p.m. ceremony was John Henry Morris II.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Cheri Overman of Enumclaw. She is a 2003 graduate of Enumclaw High School and attends Seattle University, where she is studying to be a civil engineer.

The groom is the son of Jim Kuzaro and Shari Weiding of Black Diamond. He graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1996 and is employed by C.C. Edwards.

Honor attendant for the ceremony was Shay Ramos and Jessica Horvath served as a bridesmaid. Brent Coby was best man and John Okeson was the groomsman. Maya Manowski served as flower girl.

The wedding site has special significance for both families. The bride’s great-grandfather was the original owner and operator of the Shangri-La property and the groom’s great-grandfather owned an adjacent parcel of land. The two properties now make up the resort.
