Donna Russell-Cook, president of St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, a part of CHI Franciscan Health, has announced she is leaving to join a medical center in northeastern New England.

“Donna has made St. Elizabeth one of Catholic Health Initiatives top performing critical access hospitals,” says Ketul J. Patel, CEO of CHI Franciscan Health. “She has dedicated herself to working with physicians, leaders and staff to strengthen St. Elizabeth’s position as a major part of the Enumclaw plateau community. St. Elizabeth would not be where it is today without Donna’s leadership.”

Russell-Cook was recently recognized with the prestigious “Grassroots Champion Award” by the American Hospital Association and the Washington State Hospital Association for “advocating tirelessly on behalf of patients, hospitals and communities.” Russell-Cook will be leaving her position later this spring and a transition plan is currently in development.
