Officers were alerted to two males who stole some fountain soda on Nov. 8. Officers found one of the males sitting at a nearby picnic table. The male volunteered that he had a warrant out for his arrest.

STOLEN SODA: Officers were alerted to two males who stole some fountain soda on Nov. 8. Officers found one of the males sitting at a nearby picnic table. The male volunteered that he had a warrant out for his arrest. While officers were talking with him, the other male approached, denying he took any soda. He also said he had warrants out for his arrest. Both males were booked and told not to return to the store.

ATTEMPTED BREAK-IN: On Nov. 10 officers were dispatched to an alarm at a coffee shop. When officers arrived, the drive-through window was smashed but there was no movement inside, and it did not appear anyone entered the shop. An employee stayed on scene for the rest of the night.

SWERVING: On Nov. 10 officers observed some erratic driving on SR 410, with a car swerving in its lane. Officers pulled the card over and the driver was unable to provide his registration and had no insurance. He also had a suspended driver’s license and had a felony warrant out for his arrest. Officers arrested the driver and his car was impounded.

ALTERED TRIP PERMIT: Officers pulled over a car with expired registration on Nov. 12. When approaching the car, officers saw a trip permit with very faded ink. Upon further inspection, the trip permit turned out to be a photocopy. The male driver, whose license was suspended, provided a receipt for the trip permit, which was also a photocopy. The driver was cited and released with the passenger taking the wheel.

MISSING TRIP PERMIT: Officers were on graveyard patrol when they ran a check on a car that turned out to have expired registration. Officers waited for the female driver to return, then activated their emergency lights to pull the car over. The driver said she had a trip permit, but it was possible her children removed it. She was unable to provide her license, insurance or registration. Officers confirmed she had a misdemeanor warrant for her arrest, so she was cited and booked.
