City officers assisted King County authorities with locating and detaining a subject associated with a car fire. After it was determined the vehicle was stolen, county deputies took custody of the suspect. The incident occurred at Southeast 440th Street and 284th Avenue Southeast.

STOLEN VEHICLE: City officers assisted King County authorities with locating and detaining a subject associated with a car fire. After it was determined the vehicle was stolen, county deputies took custody of the suspect. The incident occurred at Southeast 440th Street and 284th Avenue Southeast.

IN THE DITCH: Police received a report at 2:27 a.m. Sept. 26 regarding a motorist, who had been drinking, who drove his vehicle into a ditch on Southeast 448th Street. The suspect left the vehicle prior to police arriving. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

SEPTEMBER 29: Officers dealt with a 10:25 p.m. collision at the intersection of Ryan and Sheets roads. Also, there was a call to assist the fire department at a Park Avenue address and an assault report stemming from Rainier School.
