How have rising gas prices affected your life?

“The primary thing I would say we do is to think twice about running down to the corner for groceries. I plan wherever I go and on the route I’m going to take that will get me everything in the shortest distance. The second thing I do is pick a day of not using a vehicle at all. Third, why aren’t we using our reserves instead of Wall Street people and foreigners to control what happens with our energy?”

“Not at all, because I don’t drive.”

“Not that big of a deal, I just buy gas whenever I need it.”

“[Gas prices] just make things tighter on our budget. But I’ll be doing some biking to work a few days a week. It’s about 18 miles to work, so 36 miles per day. But I’m used to biking.”
