SUSPICIOUS: A Roosevelt Avenue traffic stop at 2 a.m. Aug. 5 turned up a motorist who was arrested and booked for driving with a suspended license. A temporary tag on the vehicle did not match the auto’s identification number, prompting a call to the registered owner. He informed police the vehicle had been returned months previously to a dealership. The vehicle was impounded as evidence until authorities could determine if it had been stolen.
