TONIGHT: Prairie Ridge winter safety meeting and dinner

The Prairie Ridge community safety meeting and dinner will start tonight at 6 p.m. at the Prairie Ridge Community Center. Dinner will be served at 6 and the program follows.

Are you prepared for a power outage?  Are you concerned that your home may be a target of a Christmas Eve thief?  Do you know what you can do to prevent a fire in your home?  Are you having issues with crime in your neighborhood?

The Prairie Ridge community safety meeting and dinner will start tonight at 6 p.m. at the Prairie Ridge Community Center.  Dinner will be served at 6 and the program follows.

East Pierce Fire & Rescue will share information on important winter/holiday topics including Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, Home Heating Safety, Holiday Safety, Emergency Preparedness, and Fire Prevention & Safety.  Sara Main from Safe Streets will also be there to provide free drug free/crime free signs and information.

Dinner will be “breakfast for dinner” with ham, pancakes, oranges, and beverages.  Children are welcome if they can sit through a presentation.  Childcare will not be available.
