Trade your tick-or-treat candy for money

Molen Orthodontics of Sumner is offering kids $2 per pound of halloween candy they turn in.

Now that you’ve collected all that candy trick-or-treating, what are going to do with it?

Instead of eating it, Molen Orthodontics of Sumner is offering to buy that candy back this afternoon.

Kids can turn in their wrapped trick-or-treat candy at a rate of $2 per pound, with a 10-pound maximum.

Kids can also earn an extra dollar for wearing their costume and for bringing in two canned food items.

All candy and donated food will be donated to local food banks, charitable organizations and military personnel.

The event is set for 3 – 6:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, at any of the Molen Orthodontics offices, located in Auburn, Enumclaw and at 16202 64th St. E. in Sumner.
