UPDATE: Sumner School District announced no threat was found after a thorough search by the Pierce County Sheriff Department. Students and staff have returned to the building and after-school schedules will resume as planned.

An anonymous bomb threat has spurred an evacuation at Bonney Lake High School, Sumner School District posted on their Facebook page. Students are currently on the football field and Pierce County Sheriff’s department is conducting a search of the school.

Bus and sports schedules will not be affected. This story will be updated as more information is available.
