A car crashed into the front of the Bonney Lake Safeway building Thursday morning, according to a Twitter update from the Bonney Lake Police Department’s Public Information Officer.

Based on photos and information tweeted by the @BLPoliceDept account at 10 a.m., the Saturn sedan crashed into a section of glass section of the storefront, shattering the windows and scattering DVD displays in the store’s movie rental department. The section of storefront was damaged, but the vehicle did not enter the store and no one was injured.

By 11 a.m., the vehicle was towed and the store was open for business. Bonney Lake police were investigating the cause of the crash.
