WSP looking for witnesses to fatal accident on SR 169

The Washington State Patrol is seeking information to a three-vehicle, fatal collision that occurred at approximately 5:40 a.m. Feb. 23 just north of Enumclaw.

The Washington State Patrol is seeking information to a three-vehicle, fatal collision that occurred at approximately 5:40 a.m. Feb. 23 just north of Enumclaw.

The accident was on state Route 169 at 400th 39225 state Route 169 in Enumclaw on Feb. 23, 2016 at 400th Street Southeast.

A 26-year-old Enumclaw resident, driving a gray 1994 Mercury Sable, died after attempting to pass a northbound pick-up truck and striking a 2010 Ford Mustang that was traveling southbound. The driver of the Mustang, a 59-year-old female from Sammamish, suffered serious injuries.
