A memorial service for Andrew “Andy” Fitterer is planned for 2 p.m. June 15, at the Wilkeson Eagles Aerie #1409.

He died June 6, 2016, following a short illness. He was 65.

He was born March 19, 1951, in New Jersey and migrated to the Northwest to play football for the Oregon State Beavers. He was a member of the Wilkeson Eagles where he was a regular fixture serving meals and washing dishes on Friday evenings. He lived in Rainier Ranch Sites near Wilkeson.

The memorial will be a potluck affair. The Wilkeson Eagles is at 435 Church St. (state Route 165) in Wilkeson.

Memorials may be left at the Eagles to help with his final expenses.
