Anna Serquinia

Buckley resident Anna Jean Serquinia, 57, died Feb. 18, 2011, in Seattle.

She was born Sept. 21, 1953, in Loveland, Colo. She will be remembered as a talented artist, amazing gardener and an animal lover who was never without a pet. She also will be remembered for battling pancreatic cancer during her last year with strength and courage.

She is survived by husband Tony Serquinia of Buckley; sons Jared Stevenson and wife Heather Wilson and William Stevenson and wife Johann; daughter Lisa Martin and husband Eric; father James Wilson; stepmother Ann Wilson; sisters Fayrene Brigance and Belinda Renagar; stepbrothers Doug Schlarbaum and Dennis Schlarbaum; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by mother Zelda Calhoon, stepfather Robert Candelle and sister Betty Joe Wilson.

A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley.
