Anthony James Alferio, 59, died March 5, 2017.

Originally from Lorain, Ohio, he spent most of his career with General Motors, both as a union representative and manager, before retiring as plant manager for Navistar in Springfield, Ohio. He was a hiker, scuba diver, wakeboarder, international traveler, football fan, avid reader and home remodeler. He loved Diet Coke and ice cream.

He is survived by partner Joni Sensel of Greenwater; a son and daughter; and four siblings.
