Arlene Bishop

Buckley resident Arlene L. Bishop, 73, died April 11, 2016, in Federal Way, Wash.

She was born Jan. 11, 1943, in Puyallup, Wash., to the late Clifford and Lola Curtis in Puyallup. She loved spending time with her family, especially family gatherings, and enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, decorating and shopping; she also was an animal lover and enjoyed her dogs. Arlene liked helping the less fortunate and worked at Pennies from Heaven in Enumclaw. She is remembered for her willingness to help people, especially family.

She is survived by husband Gary Bishop of Buckley; daughter Cindy Wislocker of Puyallup; son Andy Bishop (Tori) of Buckley; sister Chris Green (Bob) of Fredrickson, Wash.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sister Linda Jefferies, brother Larry Curtis, son John Curry and daughter Sheila Bishop.

A memorial service took place Sunday, April 17, at the Buckley Eagles.
