Bruce “Joey” Dean of Enumclaw died March 23, 2016, at the age of 53.

He was born March 16, 1963, to the late Marc and Leslie (Sevilles) Dean in Enumclaw. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hiker and mountain climber. He loved sports, especially football and basketball, and liked playing the guitar and listening to old-school rock ‘n’ roll. He previously worked as an attendant counselor at Rainier State School.

He is survived by brothers Dr. Michael Dean of Kennewick, Wash., and Patrick Dean of Buckley, and sister Paula Williams of Buckley.

A celebration of his life is planned for noon on Saturday, April 30, at Mud Mountain Dam in Enumclaw.
