Carl Wilbert Jones

Carl Wilbert Jones, 94, died Dec. 27, 2015, in Enumclaw.

He was born March 28, 1921, in Terre Haute, Ind. He was an accountant, retiring from the Port of Seattle in 1983. A recipient of the Purple Heart during World War II, he is remembered as a faithful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A dedicated family man, he was a hard worker and an accomplished golfer.

A graveside service took place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood, Wash.

Remembrance donations are suggested to the Salvation Army or a charity of the donor’s choice.
