Carmen Bengtson

Carmen Henrichs Meader Rieck Bengtson, 50, died June 8, 2011, in Seattle.

She was born Dec. 10, 1960, in Breckenridge, Minn., married Norbert Bengtson on Dec. 24, 2008, in Kent, Wash., and was residing in Enumclaw at the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband Norbert Bengtson of Enumclaw; son Adam Meader of Black Diamond; daughters Selina Meader and Eileen Meader, both of Enumclaw; sisters Debbie Sunick and husband Tom of Federal Way and Kim Steger; brothers Leroy Henrichs of Seattle, Glen P. Steger of Kent, David Steger and wife Marsha of Kent, Jay Steger and wife Kathy of Kent, Terry Steger of Tenino, Wash., Tim Steger and wife Joli of Buckley and Stephen Steger; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents Glen and Eileen Steger and Henry Henrichs and brother Darrell Gaulrapp and his wife Windy.

A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at Yahn and Son Funeral Home, 55 West Valley Highway S. in Auburn.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
