Carol Hutton

Carol J. Hutton died April 7, 2016, at the age of 75.

She was born Sept. 25, 1940, in Pasco, Wash. She loved horses, books and Elvis Presley, and would never pass up a good PopTart. She is remembered for her sense of humor, generous nature and being a devoted Christian. She graduated from Columbia Basin College with a degree in nursing and worked as a nurse for more than 30 years. She was the West Cascade Chapter leader for Parents of Murdered Children for many years and was an advocate for crime victims’ rights, working with government officials.

She is survived by daughter Darcy Wyatt (Robert); stepson Bill Hutton (Jacki); stepdaughters Pauline Roberts (Jim) and Karla Short; sister Shirley Peterson (Robert); brother Ron Hagan (Corrine); 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Larry Hutton and son Tim Mosley.
