Buckley resident Carol Jean Yoder, 81, died Dec. 17, 2016, in Puyallup.
She was born Aug. 31, 1935, in St. Joseph, Mo. She worked at Boeing and a plant nursery before owning and operating Mott Coin-Op Laundry. She enjoyed working in her garden, growing flowers and vegetables, traveling with her sister and visiting relatives. The highlight of her life was spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by son Christopher (Michele) Yoder of Tacoma; daughter Cynthia (Dan) Winston of Sumner; brother Jim (Clara) Archdekin of St. Joseph; sisters Elain OBanion of Sun City, Ariz., and Barbara (Lloyd) Pasley of St. Joseph; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Yoder and brother Ray Archdein, both in 1996.
Visita-tion took place from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, and a funeral service is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, both at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley. Burial will be at Buckley City Cemetery.
