Cindra (Cindy) Ranae Hauff passed away at her home in Buckley, Washington on March 21, 2017.

Cindra was born in Leavenworth, Washington on May 3, 1957 and grew up in Cashmere, Washington.

Cindra loved all people, always quick to make new friends, and cared deeply for those around her. She was generous beyond imagination – so generous that she once gave the shirt off of her back (literally) to a person whom she thought needed it more than herself.

Cindra’s true love however, was her unconditional love for animals. Anyone who knew her knew that she loved animals more than anything. She was never without animals in her household and would always be the first person to take in a stray, without hesitation.

Cindra first met her partner, Allen in 1997 and had been together since. From the beginning, Allen was the only person who could keep up with her while understanding her unique way of looking at the world. In fact, he actually celebrated her diverse perspective.

Cindra is survived by her partner of 20 years, Allen Strub; mother, Pete McKinney; father, William Hauff; brother, Gary (Jeannette) Hauff; brother, Duane Hauff; brother, Tim (Jolie) Hauff; sister, Mitzi (Steve) Widdows; and sister, Leanna (Ron) Manzer. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Carbonado Church in Carbonado, WA on Saturday, May 13th at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local animal shelter.
