Buckley resident David Eugene Thornton died June 14, 2017, in Federal Way, Wash. He was 63.

He was born Oct. 6, 1953, in Spokane, Wash., to the late Bill and Lori Thornton. He graduated from Shadle Park High School and attended community college. He was the owner of Allstar Cleaning Professionals and a member of the Eagles RV Club.

He is survived by wife Jean Thornton; sons Jesse and Jon; brothers Jerry and Bill; sisters Tammy and Linda; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Donny.

A graveside gathering is planned for Sunday, July 2, at Buckley City Cemetery.
