Delores Joyce VanHoof died peacefully at her family home in Enumclaw Dec. 26, 2016. She was 84.

Delores Joyce VanHoof died peacefully at her family home in Enumclaw Dec. 26, 2016. She was 84.

She was born Nov. 6, 1932, in Auburn, Wash., to the late James and Clara Noblett. She married Don VanHoof on March 31, 1951, and they raised three sons together on their family dairy farm in Enumclaw.

She is survived by son Gordon (Denise) VanHoof and wife Denise; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Don; sons Rick (Sue) and Bob (Gail); and sisters Betty Fant and Maxine Raybon Womach.

Donations in her name may be made to Franciscan Hospice, 2901 Bridgeport Way W., University Place, Wash. 98466.

A viewing took place from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Weeks’ Funeral Chapel in Buckley. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley with burial immediately after at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw. A reception will follow the memorial at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall in Enumclaw.
