Dolores Laverne (Wood) Argersinger died peacefully July 20, 2018, in Enumclaw.

She was born April 29, 1928, in Seattle to the late Howard and Genivieve (Roginski) Womach and raised in Rainier Valley, Ravensdale and Enumclaw. She graduated from Saint Edward’s Parochial School and Franklin High School. She married Charles Wood when he mustered out of the Army after World War II in 1947 and raised three children in Rainier Valley. She later divorced and married Floyd Argersinger in 1971. She had a long career as an executive office assistant, first at Boeing with shorthand and typing and later for the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries with word processing and digital calendars.

She is survived by sons Steven Wood (Bonnie) and Michael Wood (Petra); daughter Marcia Branton (David); 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husbands Charles E. Wood and Floyd J. Argersinger; siblings Willis, Eileen and Robert; and granddaughter Angela (Wood) Walthers.

Services were at noon Tuesday, July 31, at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home.
