Donald Eugene VanHoof, 86, died at his family home on Sept. 17, 2016, surrounded by family.

He was born Feb. 28, 1930, in Enumclaw. He married Delores Noblett on March 31, 1951, and they raised three sons on the family dairy farm.

He is survived by wife Delores; son Gordon VanHoof (Denise); daughters-in-law Sue and Gail; brothers Frank Jr. and Fred; sisters Kathleen Ingram, Clara Ogle, Donna Hiam, Nadine Satterlund and Caroline Wallin; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sons Richard and Robert; brothers Les, Dan, Raymond and Charles; and sisters Maida Fuller and Vivian Halkjar.

A funeral service took place Friday, Sept. 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by burial at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Franciscan Hospice, P.O.
