Donna Jolane Roth of Carbonado, WA died on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at home.

Donna was born February 8th, 1941 in Dubuque, Iowa to Donald and Anna Strub. She was the oldest of seven siblings, Alvin (Bud), Clarence (Pete), William (Bill), Roger, Judith (Judy) Chin, and Kevin (Michael). Her husband Jack Roth preceded Donna Jo in death.

She is survived by her two daughters Laura Argo and husband Tom along with Denise Vesey and husband Kevin, both of Carbonado, eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grand children. Donna retired from Washington State Soldier’s Home in Orting, WA after 25 years.

She received her LPN from Bates Technical College in Tacoma, WA. Donna Jo enjoyed reading, movies, coloring, going out to eat with family, as well as spoiling her grand kids and great grand kids. She was an active member of Carbonado Community Church.

A celebration of life service was held at 11 AM on Friday December 30, 2016 at Carbonado Community Church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Carbonado Community Church
