Donna Rae Banghart died Oct. 3, 2014, in her home. She was 79.

She was born March 28, 1935, in Portland, Ore., to Edward and Audrey Kelly. She graduated from Highline High School in 1953 and in 1956 she married John Banghart in White Center, Wash. She was active in the VFW Auxiliary serving as president, secretary and treasurer. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was the treasurer of her bowling league. She loved arts and crafts and ceramics.

She is survived by sons Ken (Debbie) Banghart of Seattle, and John (Rhonda) Banghart of Maple Valley, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband on April 2, 2014.

She will be buried at 2:5 p.m. Oct. 10 at Tahoma National Cemetery.
