Gary Blow

Former area resident Gary J. Blow died June 25, 2015, of natural causes at Kalispell (Mont.) Regional Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 6, 1946, in Plattsburg, N.Y., to the late Norman and Eleanor (Qualls) Blow. He grew up and attended school in Enumclaw, graduating from Enumclaw High in 1964. He worked in the woods as a truck driver and sawyer before his employment with Lincoln County as a maintenance worker. He retired in 2014.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sandra Hildreth of Libby, Mont.; children Brian Blow of Casper, Wyo., Marvin Burell of Belgrade, Mont., and Sheri Huffman (Craig), Christi Quinn, Teresa Jenkins and Bill Cook, all of Libby; sister Audrey Strate of Enumclaw; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant son and daughter-in-law Sandra Cook.

Services took place July 2, 2015, at Schnackenberg and Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.
