George Richard “Rich” Streepy died Nov. 27, 2015, at the age of 86.

He was born April 4, 1929, to George T. and Clarise L. (Argo) Streepy in the family’s Carbonado home. He attended school in Carbonado and graduated in 1947 from White River High School. He served in Germany with the U.S. Army and worked in the woods. He was a trapper, hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by daughters Pamela and Yvonne; sister Linda LeRoy (David) of Oakdale, Calif.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial is planned for noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at the Wilkeson Eagles.
