Enumclaw resident Gloria June Dunn, 87, died March 5, 2011, in Puyallup.

She was born Sept. 12, 1923, in Brainer, Minn., the oldest of three children born to Harold and Hazel (Griffith) Bowman. The family moved to Washington and she graduated from high school in Battle Ground in 1943. She married Hugh Dunn in Seaside, Ore., on Dec. 8, 1945, and lived in The Dalles, Ore., from 1957 until 2004, when she moved to Enumclaw. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Enumclaw and enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, sewing, cooking and going to the beach for the summer.

She is survived by son James Dunn and wife Colleen of Enumclaw; daughter Nola Dunn of Kelso, Wash.; sister Nola Dickenson of Gulfport, Miss.; five grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Hugh, and brother James.

A graveside service took place Thursday, March 17, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore.
