Irene Littleton entered into the loving arms of our Lord on March 8, 2018.

She was born on August 30, 1940 in Los Angeles, Ca. to Ira and Ethel Burros. She was the younger sister of her brother Gordon. She was raised in California and attended Newport High School in Costa Mesa. She later completed her adult education in Sandpoint, Idaho. She married Bob Littleton in 1972. She worked at Encoders Products in Sagle, Idaho and later in life at McConky’s Plastics in Sumner. She was also a certified caregiver and devoted her last years to caring for her mother and her brother.

Irene loved her Lord and Savior Jesus and was a longtime member of Church on the Hill in Bonney Lake (formerly know as Elhi Hill Baptist Church) One of her favorites pastimes was to receive scripture from J.Vernon McGee on the radio when she was at home caring for her brother. She loved to talk about anything she’d read in the Holy Bible and was in constant prayer regarding any concerns in her life. She would often marvel at God’s simple creations such as a flower or a tree and proclaim, “Pretty Neat!” That was one of her favorite things to say about anything she liked. Her hobbies included gardening, arts and crafts, sewing, and doll collecting. She rarely passed up a yard sale, taking opportunity to find that special deal. She loved to take pictures of her family and was very thorough in creating photo albums to be passed on to her children. Her warm smile and kind words were abundant with everyone, and she always had a silly joke or play on words to share in conversation. She had a style all her own, and will be greatly missed by her loved ones. Hers was truly a life well lived in the service of others through God’s love.

She is survived by her brother Gordon Burros of Bonney Lake, her son Jerry Rogers (Denice) of Bonney Lake, Wa. son James Littleton (Colleen) of Bonney Lake, Wa. daughter Rene Pellens (Burt) of Sandpoint, Idaho and daughter Darla Spence of Sagle, Idaho. She also has 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents and her son John.

Arrangements are by Weeks Funeral Home in Buckley. There will be a celebration of life on March 26th, at the Buckley Eagles at 1:00 P.M.
