James R. “Jim” Stephens Sr. died Sept. 30, 2011.

He is survived by his wife Ruth; six children, three stepdaughters, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Oct. 15 at St. Barbara Church in Black Diamond.
