Joan “Toni” Kirchner, 81, died Feb. 11, 2019, in Bonney Lake.

Joan “Toni” Kirchner, 81, died Feb. 11, 2019, in Bonney Lake.

She was born July 14, 1937, in Enumclaw to John and Nina (Thorpe) Rogers. She was a member of the Stitch and Bitch sewing group and enjoyed aerobics. Every year she and her husband enjoyed camping, hiking, digging clams and boating at Hood Canal. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by her husband Fred Kirchner of Enumclaw; sons Mark (Linda), Stephen (Barb) and John (Barb); stepchildren Sharon Kirchner, Larry Kirchner (Mary) and Michael Kirchner; brother John Rogers (Jane) of Enumclaw; sister Dolores “Dody” Wallace of Enumclaw; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at the Enumclaw VFW hall.
