Lewis James Johnson Jr., 70, died May 17, 2017, at his Buckley home.

He was born May 12, 1947, in Buckley to the late Dorothy and Lewis Johnson. He graduated in 1965 from Enumclaw High School, served in the U.S. Air Force and worked at the Tacoma Water headworks in Palmer, where his father also was employed.

He is survived by son Kyle Johnson (Tiffany) of Ravensdale. He was preceded in death by brother Larry Johnson.

Military services are planned for 10 a.m. Monday, June 26, at Buckley City Cemetery. A gathering in his honor is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 25, at the Buckley Eagles.
