Lyle M. “Bud” Lovell, 92, died June 19, 2018, at his home in Enumclaw.

He was born Feb. 18, 1926, in Colome, South Dakota. He moved to Washington to work and moved his family to Enumclaw in 1966. He operated his own business selling autos and RVs. His favorite pastime was to go to dealer sales and bring back vehicles and RVs to recondition and sell. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending winters at his place in Yuma, Arizona.

He is survived by sons Stewart R. Lovell of Tacoma and Gregory S. Lovell (Jenny) of Lake Tapps; daughters Lisa A. Lovell and Tina K. Lovell, both of Enumclaw; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Lovell, on Dec. 31, 2014, and 10 siblings.

A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley followed by a celebration of his life at the Buckley Eagles. Inurnment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery at a later date. Services are by Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home.
