Mickey Ryan

Buckley resident Mickey Ryan Jr., 77, died Jan. 28, 2011, in Buckley.

He was born May 5, 1933, in Chehalis, Wash., served the in Navy and Coast Guard during the Korean War and worked for the Department of Fisheries. He was in sales until his retirement. He served as a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician in Burlington, Wash., and was a past master of the Umatilla, Ore., and Benton City, Wash., Masonic Lodges. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by wife Patsy Ryan of Buckley; sons Rick Patch of Kent and Frank Patch and wife Kristina of Kennewick, Wash.; daughters Connie Howard and Cathy Pineda and husband Joseph, all of Buckley; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

An open house at the family home is planned for 1 to 4 p.m, Saturday, Feb. 5.

A Masonic service will take place in Eastern Washington at a later date.
