Monica Ann Shoemaker died July 8, 2017, surrounded by family.

She was born June 25, 1960, to the late Albert and Rita Puttman Richter of Enum-claw. She was a lifelong area resident and a 1978 graduate of Enumclaw High School. She went on to work for Heath Techna, Kenworth Truck Co. and recently retired from The Boeing Co. after 32 years of service. She was a member of the Aerospace Machinist Union. She loved antiques, could not pass up a garage sale, cultivated a beautiful garden each summer and loved music.

She is survived by daughters Danielle Paterson and Ashley Shoemaker and son Colton Shoemaker, all of Enumclaw; sister Connie Roseth (Peder) of Kent; uncle Jim Puttman (Betty) of Enumclaw; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother Stan, former husband Michael Shoemaker and stepson Dustin Shoemaker.
