Nancy Kathleen Carlson Wardhaugh died June 12, 2016.

She was born April 29, 1942, in Seattle to John and Irene Carlson. She was raised in Kent, Wash., and graduated from Kent-Meridian High School. She worked as a keypunch operator at Boeing and later as a sales clerk at Brandt’s Western Shop in Auburn. Her love for cats, horses, puzzles, knitting and swimming were well known. She was a member of South Seattle and Green River Saddle Clubs and she’ll be missed at the Enumclaw pool.

She is survived by husband Michael Wardhaugh; children Michelle Wardhaugh, Rusella (Terry) Doughty and Scott (Melissa) Wardhaugh; brother Robert L. Carlson of New Mexico; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Enumclaw.
