Patricia “Patsy” Lorraine Mulder, 87, died Dec. 23, 2018.

She was born July 4, 1931, in Kent to Pete and Nellie Schoordyk. Raised on the family dairy farm, she graduated from Auburn High School and moved to Enumclaw 66 years ago after marrying Nick Mulder on Sept. 5, 1952. The couple spent their early years starting a family and a dairy farm of their own in Enumclaw. She worked for several years at Bethesda Manor Nursing Home and at Jayhawks, both in Enumclaw.

She is survived by daughters Cynthia Pellum of Buckeye, Arizona, and Vicky Walters (Stephen) of Enumclaw; brother Pete Schoordyk (Sharon) of Selah, Washington; sister Elsie Parkin of Black Diamond; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas “Nick” Mulder, son Daniel “Dan” Mulder and brother-in-law Bill Parkin.

A graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park.
